These are a few of the projects I've worked on recently.

Current Projects:
Adrienne Albert - Composer. Provide Dreamweaver tutoring and tech support to site owner, so that she can maintain the site independently. Also responsible for more complex site maintenance, including serving as webmaster.

Committee to Recall Bill Eisen - Community organization. Developed site from scratch, including creating logo and site graphics. Responsible for site organization and maintenance, including serving as site webmaster.

Community Consulting Associates - Consulting firm. Developed site from scratch, including creating corporate logo and site graphics.

Little Ethiopia Restaurant - Restaurant. Developed site from graphics created by client's designer. Responsible for site maintenance, including serving as site webmaster.

Previous projects:
Comiculture.com - Comic book magazine. Site maintenance and creation of additional areas based on existing overall design.

bullet Photo Galleries - Wrote and designed the photo galleries area and three of the four convention galleries (Comic Con International 2003, Gun Gallery, and Alternative Press Expo 2003). This included resizing and optimizing the photos, creating thumbnails, writing photo captions, and laying out the pages.

bullet Produced "creators pages" for Comiculture contributors Robert Napton and Shannon Wheeler, adapting existing bio information to suit Comiculture space and style requirements, resizing and optimizing photos and artwork, creating appropriate links and laying out the pages.

bullet Produced the Sin of the Wolf web comic, including adding digital subtitles to the artwork, resizing and optimizing it, laying out the pages, and creating a navigation system for the comic in line with Comiculture's existing practices.

KB Home's KB University site - Home builder. Documented internal processes used to maintain KB Home's corporate e-learning site. Also on-call to provide content administration services as needed.

Please note: Since this site is a proprietary intranet, neither screenshots nor public access can be made available here. To learn more about KB Home, please visit their marketing web site.

B'nai Tikvah Congregation - Synagogue, now defunct (merged to form the new Congregation Tikvat Jacob). Responsible for site organization and maintenance, including serving as site webmaster. Developed a stand-alone site to promote a Silent Auction fundraiser, including cataloging items available for purchase. View a sample of work-in-progress from that project.

JewishLA.org - Charity. Site development, design, organization and maintenance from 1999 to 2003. Here are few examples:

Produced the Federation in Focus monthly e-newsletter featuring the work of The Jewish Federation. Created graphic design of site area and developed style guidelines. Monthly production required creating an HTML page for each article, resizing and optimizing photos, coordinating proofing and approvals through multiple departments and e-mailing completed newsletter to a subscriber list of several thousand donors. Created monthly editions from the inaugural July 2003 issue through the November 2003 issue, all of which are still archived on the site.

Produced the Federation in the News site area, reprinting selected news articles highlighting the work of The Jewish Federation. Required quick turn around of material submitted as word or text files. Created monthly editions from the inaugural April 2003 issue through the November 2003 issue, all of which are still archived on the site.

Photo gallery for the Real Estate and Construction Commercial Panel Breakfast. Received raw digital photos on disk, resized and optimized them, created thumbnails, inserted photo captions, and laid out the pages. URL was then e-mailed to event attendees to strengthen their relationship with their campaign division's fundraising professional and with The Federation.

Member of team that developed the annual community handbook, Guide to the Los Angeles Jewish Community, into a web application, using a SQL database and ColdFusion interface, saving on annual printing and distribution costs while allowing Federation staff to update on the fly. Visit the resulting interlinked Community Guide and Community Calendar applications.

Dynamics Technology - Scientific research. Sketch for redesign of existing site with new organization and graphics. Company was sold and is now a division of another corporation, so this web site design was never implemented.
